Marmadale Springs is the perfect holiday if you are looking for an escape into the lap of nature. You will reach the foothill of the plantation that nestles the resort by road. Your vehicle can be safely parked at a ground there. From there a four wheel drive jeep with are you to the resort. That up hill climb in the jeep is an adventure in itself. The resort offers a very comfortable stay with mezzanine floors. The view from the room is awesome. Marmadale offers you all kinds of cuisine.
As mentioned in the description, the adventure begins from the parking area. The jeep ride from the parking area to the resort through the coffee plantation is really exciting. The rooms and the premises are spectacularly clean. The view from the Treehouse is mesmerizing. The experience of Rock House is also unique. The resort is a great place to relax. Variety of food was served and all the dishes were very delicious and homely. Trek to Dorai cave was also an adventures experience. Above all, the thing that makes you visit again to a place is the hospitality of the staffs. Mr. Sunil, the Manager of the resort makes sure that you are comfortable, he is a great host. All the other staffs are also very helpful and kind. Overall the stay in Marmalade Springs was a fabulous experience.
We visited Marmalade Srings in Sept 2016, it is was one of our most memoriable experience. The resort itself so beautiful n huge you can spend the whole time walking around (totally cut off no mobile disturbance) Swiming pool is great, staff is warm n cooperative. Food was amazing....also no drinks are avaiable in the resort....better buy ur stuff n go.... its big expensive but worth the money. 5 stars.
I along with my family visited the resort a couple of days ago. This resort stands distinct though there are above 300 such resorts in Wayanad. The rooms are very comfortable with neat and clean toilets. The manger Mr.Sunil and staffs were friendly and took utmost care to make our stay very comfortable. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the fun filled off-road drive to the resort. The food was very homely and delicious though it was highly priced. A bit more care should be taken in the maintance of the swimming pool and the trekking trail. All together it was a nice experience and the place is worth visiting.
If someone love off road- nature- peace -luxury all at one go.... Marmalade springs would be the best budget option for you. The property is having very few garden but mostly coffee plantation and natural forest. We went with friends and we enjoyed a lot our 3day long stay. Homely food would cherish your mood too.
